In the last few years, Internet of Things (IoT) is gaining remarkable attention in both academic and industrial worlds. The main goal IoT laying on describing everyday objects with different capabilities an interconnected fashion to share resources carry out assigned tasks. Most are heterogeneous terms amount energy, processing ability, memory storage, etc. However, one most important challenges facing networks energy-efficient task allocation. An efficient allocation protocol network should ensure fair distribution for all collaborate dynamically limited energy. canonical definition lifetime increase period cooperation between contribution this paper address problem as optimization a lifetime-aware model. A genetic algorithm proposed protocol. For algorithm, problem-tailored individual representation modified uniform crossover designed. Further, initialization perturbation operators (crossover mutation) designed so remedy infeasibility any solution located or reached by algorithm. results showed reasonable performance genetic-based prove necessity designing problem-specific instead adopting counterparts.
